How we calculate similarity
Each game has up to 80 attributes extracted from Steam, organized into 7 categories with different weights. We compare games using the Dice coefficient: how many attributes they share relative to their total attributes.

The formula
score = Σ ( weightc × dicec(A, B) )
Where dice(A,B) = 2|A∩B| / (|A|+|B|) for each category c
The result is a number from 0 to 100. Above 70 means very similar; 55–70 is similar; 40–55 is somewhat similar.
Data source
Attributes come from Steam community-generated tags (Steam user tags), which are much more specific than official genres. For example: Souls-like, Roguelite, Cozy, Battle Royale, etc.
