Half-life: Source is a reissue of the 1998 Half-Life game based on a more modern "Source" game engine with many innovations in graphics performance and gameplay. The game's plot is entirely consistent with the plot of the original Half-Life and tells us the story of the research centre "Black Mesa", which is located in the USA, New Mexico.
On reception: its Steam reviews are mixed, against very positive for Children of the Sun.
It predates Children of the Sun by 20 years, with what that implies technically.
